Darrin is an experienced mortgage professional, having led productive teams at Wells Fargo, and other mortgage banks. Although his original focus had been solely on residential originations, Darrin quickly broadened his expertise to include commercial mortgage financing. Darrin clients appreciate how hard he works to help his clients achieve their financing objectives.

Seth joined Silver Fin Capital in 2007. In addition to being an accomplished licensed mortgage loan originator, Seth is responsible for helping manage the company’s licensed loan origination team, with duties including structuring and reviewing all loan files, and helping to select the best lender for each client's particular scenario. Seth finds helping clients with their financial needs and building lifelong relationships in the process gratifying. Seth received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Science in Management from State University of New York at Binghamton. Outside of the workplace, his interests include sports and cars, and spending time with his family.

Michael joined Silver Fin Capital in 2012. With over a decade in the mortgage and real estate advisory industry, he is a seasoned professional. His expertise includes all classes of real estate, including residential, multi-family and commercial property financing. Michael prides himself on solving challenging scenarios for his client’s, listening to and understanding their needs and objectives . Michael attended Hofstra University and Baruch College. Among his interests are the global markets and consumer advocacy.  An avid tennis player, Michael is involved with the youth charity, Israel Tennis Centers and currently sits on its regional board.

Michael is a highly accomplished mortgage loan officer with nearly two decades of experience in the mortgage industry. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from SUNY New Paltz in 2005, Michael embarked on a successful career, specializing in a wide range of financing solutions tailored to meet diverse client needs, from residential to commercial loans. Licensed to manage residential mortgage transactions in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and Pennsylvania, Michael also offers commercial and investment financing across nearly all states. His expertise spans an extensive variety of loan products, including Conventional, Non-QM, FHA, VA, Hard Money, SBA Loans, Bridge and Blanket Financing, Lite Doc, No Doc, 100% Financing, Non-Warrantable Condos and Co-ops, Fix-and-Flip Programs, Construction and Renovation Loans, and Reverse Mortgages. Whether financing a small cooperative unit or a multi-million dollar hotel, Michael's versatile skill set makes him a valuable resource for any real estate project. As a VA mortgage specialist, Michael’s dedication to veterans and military families runs deep, drawing inspiration from his own family's military background—his father and both grandfathers served in the armed forces. Omar joined Silver Fin Capital in 2014, bringing over 18 years of experience as a licensed mortgage loan originator. Throughout his career, Omar has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service, leveraging Silver Fin Capital’s extensive network of lenders and deep industry knowledge to secure the best loan options for his clients. His approach includes structuring and reviewing loan programs, selecting the right lender for each unique client scenario, and providing comprehensive education from the very first call. Omar's dedication goes beyond business—he focuses on building lifelong relationships with his clients, many of whom become friends. ​ In addition to his mortgage expertise, Omar has a strong network of realtors across New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, ready to assist clients in finding their next home. Originally from Brooklyn, Omar is fluent in Spanish and gives back to his community by volunteering with a local pet rescue organization, providing foster care for homeless animals. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, friends and cheering for his favorite sports teams.

Franklin has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage finance industry and has been with Silver Fin Capital since 2007. He possesses extensive knowledge in commercial real estate finance, having originated mortgages across various real estate asset classes. A Florida native, Franklin earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from the State University of New York at Albany. He values Silver Fin Capital’s commitment to helping clients make informed investments in both residential and commercial real estate. Outside of work, Franklin enjoys golf, tennis, and traveling—sometimes combining his love for both sports and exploration.

Michael joined Silver Fin Capital in 2010. He has over 15 years’ worth of experience as a loan officer. He also has an extensive sales background and has tremendous knowledge of all types of loans, processing and underwriting. Michael appreciates Silver Fin Capital’s work environment. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, reading and spending time with his family.

Robert joined Silver Fin Capital as a Mortgage Loan Originator in June 2010, bringing with him over 30 years of account management experience, primarily from his distinguished career at IBM. As a seasoned professional in sales, finance, and consulting, Robert has developed a deep expertise in navigating the complexities of mortgage lending. His role as a loan officer allows him to apply his exceptional negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and keen understanding of client needs to secure the best financing options for each borrower. Robert is dedicated to guiding his clients through every step of the mortgage process, from loan structuring to closing, ensuring a smooth and transparent experience. Known for his problem-solving abilities, he takes pride in finding creative solutions that meet his clients' financial goals. He values the professionalism and collaboration of his Silver Fin Capital team, which drives their collective success. Outside of work, Robert enjoys golf, tennis, and closely following the financial markets, staying in tune with trends that impact both his clients and the broader economy.

Harris has been with Silver Fin Capital since 2008. He appreciates the company’s commitment to providing world-class service with it large network of wholesale lenders in both the residential and commercial markets. “We are the premier one-stop shop for clients because we have the ability to make a very stressful and complicated process a pleasure!” says Harris. ​ Harris has also advised clients in the financial services industry since 1996, having worked with several firms in both management and equity capacities. Harris earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He also completed a financial planning certification program from Fairleigh Dickinson University. When he is not working, Harris enjoys being with his family and the outdoors.

Fernando joined Silver Fin Capital in May 2010. Before that, he spent eight years as a loan officer at two mortgage firms. His areas of expertise include all aspects of residential and commercial loans. From conventional, FHA, Non-QM to multi-family, SBA, mixed-use, etc., he is on point. Additionally, Fernando enjoys working with borrowers to help guide them into more qualified and advantageous positions when purchasing or refinancing. He is a key member of Silver Fin Capital and praises its vast network of wholesale lenders. ​ Outside of work, Fernando enjoys soccer, coaching, and spending time with his family. He is also fluent in Spanish.

With over 20 years in the mortgage industry, David’s expertise includes originating both residential and commercial mortgages. He joined Silver Fin Capital in 2008, specializing in hard to do properties or loans that few others can obtain financing for. He likes to say, “if I can’t get the loan funded, nobody can”. David is available for his clients regardless of time of day and he appreciates Silver Fin Capital’s investment in systems and technology that help him to provide his clients with that superior service. ​ In his spare time, David enjoys golf, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.

Leila is a skilled Mortgage Loan Originator with over 20 years of experience in the real estate and mortgage industries. She maintains a strong educational foundation having earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from Queens College and a Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law. Leila began her career as an in-house commercial underwriter for First American Title Insurance Company's National Commercial Services division, where she honed her skills in analyzing complex real estate and financial transactions. Leila carried over her expertise in various aspects of the real estate industry when she shifted her focus to financing residential properties, assisting both investors and homeowners secure financing for the purchase or refinancing of their primary homes and investment properties. Leila's wealth of experience and knowledge enables her to expertly navigate the mortgage process, offering personalized solutions for her clients. Her dedication to providing exceptional service extends beyond regular business hours; Leila makes herself available nights and weekends, recognizing the time-sensitive nature of real estate transactions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, but remains committed to ensuring that her clients receive the attention and support they need throughout their mortgage journey.

Born and raised in Queens and The Bronx, Justin now calls Massapequa, Long Island home. A proud father of two boys, he brings over 22 years of experience to the mortgage industry. He spent the first decade of his career on the banking side before transitioning to the broker channel for the last 12 years. Justin is licensed in multiple states, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and Pennsylvania. His track record of success spans both refinancing and homeownership, with a focus on helping clients achieve their goals through personalized service and smart strategy. As he continues to grow in the mortgage industry, Justin actively leverages his network, referral partners, and social media presence. Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying sporting events, concerts, beach days, movie nights, and quality time with his children.
